RIGHT ON!!!! It must be a GREAT feeling, ordering a NEW kit. Good for you. We all can't wait to see it.
Yeah baby!!!!! I sold my Roland electronic kit and took all my hard earned cash down to Guitar Center and ordered myself my first brand spankin' new kit. I got a Pearl ELX 6 piece kit in black burst color with black hardware, but I have to wait 2 weeks for it though. I also picked up a new Pearl Eliminater double pedal set! Smooth as butter! I'll post pics as soon as my kit gets here!

I don't think I've seen black burst. Should look neat.
Sahweeet!!
can't wait for some pics
My kit just showed up today (5 days early, Thank you Guitar Center!!!) and I just finished putting it all together. OMG!!! It makes my old kit sound like a kids toy! Surprisingly, the stock Pearl heads sound great right out of the box when you put E-Rings on them. Been getting ooohhhs and aaahhhs from my band members all night. I've got pics coming soon.
It feels like i've fallen in love with drumming all over again.........

There is a 12" splash next to my hats on the right side. I use it a lot, so I put it in a spot I can get to fast. The Iron Cobra pedals are nice, but all my local shop has are the superduperspiffyneato chrome ones that were double the price of the Eliminator's. If I was going to spend $600 on a set of pedals, I would have bought an Axis set. The Pearl's are great man! Smooth as buttuh!
Pink!!! How you been bro?!?! Have'nt seen you much. I put a set of Remo pinstripes on all the toms on Sunday, and yes, they do make a BIG difference. By the way, how did you get my pics posted on here? I tried for like 2 hours and all I could get on here were links or pics so small you could'nt see anything. Maybe I'm retarded or something, I dunno......

Nice kit, love that finish, well done.
what do those heads sound like man?
Those heads came off of my kit about 2 days after I got it. To be honest with ya, they sounded like crap. I use Remo pins on it and it sounds great! (by the way, my kit does'nt even look anything like this anymore. I have bumped it up to an 8 piece with a full rack system. I'll update the pics one of these days)
