    Default Great Ebay finds !!!!

    While dealing with my personal situations over the past year, I found some great deals on Ebay. I decided to expand my kit (like I needed it... LOL) and expand & standardize my cymbal setup. I also want to mount all of my cymbals on Tama titan series telescoping boom stands. (Only had one before finds).

    Here's the info on my setup before I started this:
    12 piece kit: Slingerland 7 piece (12", 13", 14", 15" concert toms, 16" floor tom, 22" bass, 5 1/2 x 14" metal snare), 4 Remo Roto-toms (6", 6", 8", 10"), Tama Camco double bass pedal,
    Cymbals: Sabian 14" AA Sizzle hats, Paiste 2000 8" splash, old "Paiste Ludwig standard" 14" crash, Paiste 404 16" crash, Paiste 404 20" ride, Paiste 3000 16" china, World Percussion 12" china, World Percussion 14" china,
    Percussion: LP ice bell, LP cowbell, sleigh bells, LP tamborine, OM chimes, Remo 10" Spoke.
    {I'm retiring the Paiste 2000, both 404's, the old Paiste Ludwig standard, and maybe both World Percussion chinas}

    Here's all of my Ebay buys:
    2 LP Jam Blocks: high (blue) and low (red)
    LP double Sambago bells: (purple and orange)
    2 LP Ridge Rider cowbells: (blue ridge and red ridge). ALL for $60
    Cannon x-hat stand $40
    5 Tama Titan telescoping boom stands $328
    double braced snare stand that converts from boom to straight $65 {for aux. snare}
    Tama 5"x10" steel hammered snare $64
    Tama 3"x13" steel hammered snare $51 {one of these will be an aux. snare}
    Paiste 3000 12" splash $122
    Paiste 3000 14" crash $56
    Paiste 3000 16" power crash $100
    Paiste 3000 18" crash $120
    Paiste 3000 18" china $180
    Paiste 3000 20" power crash $151 {might not use}
    Paiste 3000 20" ride $152
    Paiste 2002 12" power splash $48 {not planning to use}
    Paiste 2002 14" crash $78 {not planning to use}
    Paiste 2002 15" heavy hats $40!!! {aux. hats}
    6 chimes from an old church 1"x 3 1/2 to 5 feet long!!!! $200

    Still need to get:
    remote cable hat stand {to replace the x-hat)
    LP Gajate {for existing/old cowbell}
    single Tama Camco bass pedal {for LP Gajate}
    2 to 4 more Tama telescoping boom cymbal stands
    something to use as a stand for the church chimes

    So what do you people think???

    I think Ebay is a goldmine! I got my roto-toms and plenty other things off of it. My most recent is a hat trick, very cool I might add.
    It's a classic.

    I've bought my own drum Mic's on ebay this year and they were all brand new in the box for about 3/4 what they would be new. And that is 3/4 what you would pay, not list price. 5 shure tom mic's PG56 Shure Beta52 kick mic and Shure SM57 snare mic and two PG81 overhead mic's for less than $700. And all differant auctions. there is good deals to be had on ebay!

    I have never bought on e-bay. I suppose I should give it a try. Being out here in the middle of the ocean makes shipping a real hassle though.

    all th best...

    I agree that Ebay is a goldmine. My drumset with cymbals that I got was $649 w/out tax at the music stores I checked. I got it for $467 w/shipping through ebay. I am also looking at a few other drumming goodies that are on ebay. I've gotten some other non-related drumming deals on ebay that are worth mentioning. I got a Yamaha Motif XS keyboard retails $3200 in music stores on ebay I picked it up for 2200 with shipping included. That is probably the best deal I have ever gotten through ebay. If you look and are patient you can find incredible deals.

    I stole these fair and square on ebay, BIN 400. ............. 1984 Rogers eight ply all maple XP8 drums, 16x18 factory Bass Drum, 8x12, 9x13, 14x14 Floor tom with legs. Hardware is perfect. Drums are all 9.5/10. Original Resonant heads all around, and um......... heheheh this is rare. 18, 12, 13, 14FT..... the Bass drum and Floor tom are worth much more than the whole kit cost.
