just acquired one, and downloaded the manual. really quiet but interesting. I have my bass amp handy. is there any special way to patch the DD5 into the amp. The amp has a high and a low input. do I need an adapter? I understand that an adapter is needed to run a mike through the amp.
    your thoughts appreciated.

On the brain of the ekit there should be either a male or female XLR plug or a jack. Just run a lead out of here into the amp. So you will need a xlr (Male or female) to jack to run it into your amp.... I would guess you would run it into a hi output because a strong signal should come from the brain.

Look all that up just to check but it sounds right

    have fun

thanks Stevo for the advice. I didn't want to blow anything up. looking forward to wailing (lol) on it this weekend. actually I am also interested in the fact that it provides tempo.
cheers and hope you get some rain down under.

Tiz been raining great around my area which is a relief :>

As for blowing stuff up, Active amps have fuses and stuff so you cant actually blow them up *the speakers are rated greater than the amp* so long as you keep it low at first you can safely plug and play any way you see fit to get the best sound
