doesnt have much effect..i think most of the guy population would say girl drummers are hot
i havent run into a girl drummer that wasent at least semi hot yet....but seriously im a major fan of female drummers i respect that you have the skills to take on an career that has been previously dominated by guys ...the fact that your hot is just a side effect.....not that im complaining....

I think girls tend to play in a certain way that...isnt as popular (i guess you could say) idk how to explain it..but i know female drummers who are better then male drummers and the males get more publicity..either its the style or discrimination..either way...its not cool

Female Drummers
Two of the best percussionists today are females...Sheila E., who in my opinion plays better than some guys I know...and the conga player in the Jay Leno band. (Can't think of her name, but she really tears up those LPs and has a big voice to match)...
And judging from some of our sister drummers in drumchat.com, we're seeing the next wave of female drummers develop right before our eyes.
My member name contains "'bro," but drumming isn't just for 'bro's anymore!

Sheila E. notwithstanding, many of the female musicians I see often have a softer, less agressive attack than many men. I really notice this sometimes when a guy is playing keyboard and then a woman takes over. You can hear the volume drop. Heavier, bigger hands and a dose of testosterone seem to make a difference. Conversely, I don't hear female musicians banging away like the hammers of doom during the soft sections, like some guys do.
yea..ive noticed that too..but then i had a drum off with this metal chick..and she was loud- dark toned- and WAY better then me
and i know for sure i have more testosterone issues then she
