    Default Yearning for something new.

I want to add something new to my cymbal set up. I really don't know what I want, but I have choices. I was thinking either a 6'' splash, a bell effect of some sort like a Zil-Bel or Ice Bell, or a cymbal stack consisting of a small 12'' china with an 8'' splash. Opinions?
    It's a classic.

Personally I think you'll get more use out of the splash. You can use it in more places.

Amen Rmandelbaum! One thing about cymbals is that it seems no 2 are exactly alike. If you are thinking about cymbals, the best way to find exactly what you want is to put your sticks on 'em. Just make sure that you hear them up close, and then have someone else play them, and listen from farther away.

I think I'm going to add another splash. Any certain ones anybody can suggest?
