The only light I can shed is, that the pedal adjustments will only go so far to help, the rest is just plain old woodshedding, and building your foot speed. There really is no other simpler or faster way to do it!
I'm working with my Iron cobra and I'm trying to set it up to where i'm able to play much faster and steadier bass beats with out a whole lot of effort
this is my first time really tinkering with it since i got it, besides from just small personal adjustments
do any of you guys here play hardcore stuff?

Agreed. Your question is relevant PD13, and yes, you can usually tweek pedals for optimum performance. But that adjustment will just be a drop in the bucket compared to the amount of practice you'll need to put in. Roll up your sleeves (or in this case your cuffs ) and get busy!
