Thumbs up Just tested out some Zildjians

I forgot what they were called but my drum buddy just got them. They are silver but they sound nice. Very little overtone. Atleast to me anyway. The hi-hats were nice and have a solid feel. The only bad thing I can say about them is with the 20" ride cymbal. Too dull sounding

Sounds like the Titanium series, which I think was part of one of the sheet bronze lines. They were only made a short time and discontinued a couple years ago. As long as they sound good, thats all that matters.

    Yeah....
    ZXT titanium line....

I never seen one of them really....
The Bronze line of Zildjian (ZBT,ZHT, and ZBT) both have a weakness at their Ride....
    I wonder why....

I will have to disagree, I have the ZXT ride for the set I use in musicals and it's a very good ride.
    It's a classic.

    • How many drummers does it take to change a lightbulb?
Five: One to screw the bulb in, and four to talk about how much better
Neil Peart could have done it.

Pretty much just silver colored cymbals, I'm sure they didn't use actual titanium. They got discontinued because Zildjian was in the process of revamping their sheet bronze cymbals, and I think they did a good job, especially the ZHT's which have a higher tin content than anything they offered in the past. Remember those Schimitars? I got a pack for free when I bought my Export kit way back when. Man, those were bad. No wonder they were free. You have to admit, budget cymbals have come a long way.
