Hi everyone,
Has anyone here cracked your hi hat before or heard of anyone who has?

I have heard of it but never done it, breaking cymbals can get expensive.

If this is a one off happening then maybe the cymbal was defective, if you are breaking cymbals on a regular basis that is something completely different.

My personal opinion is if you are breaking cymbals you need to look at your technique. I have been playing 30+ years.
I have played Metal, Rock, Pop, Blues, Soul, Funk, R&B and even a little country. I have not broken any cymbals.
