Reading about L vocalizations. About how some in some accents like C.ockney & southern English accents, a few US accents as well as my own New Zealand accent, we tend to pronounce some L's in the middle or end of a word like a vowel/semi-vowel. Like:

Ball becomes kinda like Baww
Milk like Miwk
Wolf becomes Woouf
Philadelphia becomes Philadowphia
Old becomes Ouwd
The letter L becomes Ow (unless singing the alphabet song)

Had scrapple in a little diner in Hummelstown, PA. It was a "special" that day. Not having grown up eating it, I had a hard time with it. the guy that took me there had a good time watching me. I didn't see the humor.

Opening match of the Rugby World Cup in an hour. England v Fiji. Then over the next few days, it's Tonga v Georgia, Ireland v Canada, South Africa v Japan, France v Italy, Samoa v USA, Wales v Uruguay, and then New Zealand v Argentina. I'm hyped.

It's a pork product sold in 1 pound blocks, you slice it up and fry it. It's pretty much a Philadelphia Pa. local product, just don't ask what's in it, but it is really good......
