I'd say yes! The birch Stage Customs sell for around $1,000! Plus it includes cymbals! Ask for a picture of it...But I'm sure others on the forum know more than I do!

Sound good to me, I would look at it.
This is the picture he has listed with the ad. he doesn't have the set set up, but he has offered tol let me come and see them. This color isn't in the present lineup, does anyone know what year they had this color? Hope this works.
The green sets were released when they first launched the Stage Customs in 2001...not a bad set if the cymbals are with it....
good luck!

I like the Green wrap, it is a great color of green, it looks really nice!
The Jazz Ensemble I directed back around 2000 - 2001 had added the Yamaha Stage Custom set. It was okay once we exchanged the stock heads with Remo coated Ambassadors. Since then, the equipment has been upgraded to Yamaha Custom Maple Absolutes.
I use Stage Custom out quite a bit for gigs and leave my birch custom absolute in the studio. With upgraded heads and proper tuning the Stage Custom has proven to be a nice kit to use out. Even sounds greater when properly mic'd with a good sound engineer at the helm.
Seems like a nice buy. Heck, I would go for it myself if I had more storage room.
