I love that he's created his own "very" unique style. I saw him in a clinic about 12 years ago or so and he was incredible back then. He just keeps getting better and better. Back then he was smokin' in a band called The Screaming Headless Torsos.

DRUMMER: Almost all of his up tempo beats are of a classic drum n bass style that has been around since the mid 80's so it isn't very accurate to say he invented the style. What he did do is develop techniques to the point where he has become an organic drum machine able to recreate the sounds and feel of dnb with a mere two hands and two feet!

    Hi Koopa,
I think you misunderstood. Of course DNB has been around for years and stemmed from the old James Brown beats. I wasn't saying he invented DNB. What I meant was, no one had taken it to the level he has on the drumkit (emulating drum machine) especially at the speed is playing some of it. He is very unique in this way.

Johnny Rabb is another guy who's doing a lot of this and doing it in such a unique way as to create his own individual style, mixing in the single hand rolls and approaching it so creatively. I have such respect for these guys.

He's one of the few people out there who genuinely play interesting stuff, they don't extra sound makers to make it sound interesting.
