    Hi everyone,
How many of you apply automotive wax on your cymbals? Does this alter the sound of the cymbals?

I've done it too for a long time that is why I recomended it in another thread. I know it works because I do it myself.

Yep, carnuba wax. I actually use Turtle wax spray on sometimes, as well.

I clean then then wax them. They stay clean for months or longer depending on how much you handle them.
