Yea i would have to say UF (GATORS)
This is rediculous! Everyone knows who the real college band tough guys are. At Stanford, you have to be a genius and be willing to "take one for the team". http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=0fZCCAqoSwY

sorry bruh, but you are wrong!!!!! LOL. i was envolved with several high step marching bands (what i feel is the only REAL marching band) and this movie hit it on the head. black college drumlines are actually more competitive than the movie. we had beat-ins in HIGH SCOOL... college was worse with their hazing. as far as drum lines go, florida a&m or morehouse, alabama state, or even clark atlanta rank among the best.
you want see a marching band that would put a lot of colleges to shame, check out south-west dekalb high school in georgia. most of those guys were in the movie drumline.
we would have "battles" in the middle of the field or on the tracks at the end of our rival games that junk is for real. just imagine my position as the only white boy... i had it hard till i could proove myself. we were like family after that... good times though!
the way I came up uniformity and clarity was what we shrived for. High step bands are bad *** and way more entertaining than some of the shows I have seen from military style bands. But also keep this in mind, (not to step on anyone toes) but why doesn't DCI have any High stepping corps.

in the pocket
I have to say that my favorite college drumline has to be MSU. Our HS drumline took a trip to one of their clinics and it was quite amazing. I learned a alot from those guys, it really improved my playing. I think they are one of the top's.
I loved seing Utah take Alabama to school last night. Awesone football team. Their marching band was pretty dang sad, though.

Michigan State gave my college a beat-down in competition, but I still think we were better.

um guys? look at umass. they are nationally recognized as THE BEST DRUMLINE in college. every other year they get completely new equipment for everything from Pearl, Zildjian, Vic Firth, and theyre drumline coach Thom Hannum wrote the book on the elements of college drumming. so there you have it. umass has the best drumline period.
^I had to find out for myself! Wow!!!!
