Looks like it didn't cause any problems with the logos either.

I kid you not. I just got finished doing some cymbals tonight and then the first post I read is this. I got a chuckle out of it. Your Cymbals look great. I use a nice cordless buffer. Then finished with a little hand rubbing. Do you use a buffer 2slow ? Either way your's are shinning quite nicely. We all know there's 2 schools of thought here. Clean or Not. I'm on the clean side. If nothing else Ya gotta admit when a drummer's got a mountian of gleaming pies surrounding his kit it's just farging damed impressive and just plain GOREGOUS. Again 2slow nice tip and a job well done.

no buffing just wipe it on slight rub do a little extra rubbing in bad areas then rinse with water and wipe dry ! Did all 7 cymbals in 1 hour !!

I'm in the clean and shiny club myself. I have never bought in to letting cymbals get dirty to tame them. Mine sound the way I want to, to begin with, besides I think that is an old drummers tale, I have seen no difference in tone from when I got my old ride cymbal that had 50+ years of grime on it, to the tone after I cleaned it.
