    Anyone in here ever played a Ufip cymbal? I've been hearin' this name for years but never tried them out.

    i heard a UFIP crash at a local music store a while back. It didn't sound bad, but I think it was one of their lower quality products, very earthy.

    UFIPs are actually very nice, high-quality Italian cymbals. They are not very common in North America (obviously).
    I've never had the chance to really check them out either...
    There was a guy on here that has a full setup; I think he was living in Italy? Suffocation was his name I think?

    I have a ufip 8" splash cymbal it is a nice little cymbal, but I don't have allot of experience with the crashes.

    never heard of them but i guess if i go to italy i could
    play till the day i die. it makes more sense that way.

    I love UFIP cymbals. I have some and I intend any future new cymbal purshases to be UFIP. But that's just me. I like being just a little of the main stream.

    Ufip makes some nice cymbals but it's not very popular.
    I think ufip is Italian company like Zanchi.... i have a 15" crash which is nice

    UFIP is considered by many to make some of the finest production cymbals in the world. This brand is on top of my to get list. They are the only company who uses the "rotocasting" method to make cymbals. They pour molten bronze into a spinning cast instead of using ingots. go to cymbalsonly.com for a listen they carry UFIP.

    he is crazy, ive never heard of anything close to that!
    being a succesful musician has nothing to do with being signed, popular or making alot of money. It has to do with making great music.
