I was shocked at the sound of the PST line. IMHO the best sounding cymbals is their price range. Sounds like a score to me!

I also play a few PST 5's, I own also the 8" splash, and I agree, it sounds phenomonal, you really can't go wrong with that. I also have from the PST5 serie the 21" groove ride and the 16" medium crash. I would recommand the PST 5's to everybody, who can't or won't spent a huge amount of money. It is probably the best deal in the lower regions.
I even play with them on stage and over the P.A. they sound even better.

I also have the 8". Also own the 16" medium crash and the 21" groove ride. Paiste has with the PST5 series a strong weapon what is really affordable and sounds high level. You, my friend, got a great deal there.

Am I right in thinking the PST5 range replaced the 505's?

Think so coz their almost the same price. Wouldn't make sense marketing two lines competing with each other unless you've been hit in the head with the sticks one too many .... Anyone else wanna have a go at it?
