    At a rehearsal with my Jazz Trio, we ran through "St. Thomas." It reminded me of a favorite I had listed on you tube. This is the Kenny Drew Jazz Trio with Alvin Queen on the drums. Be sure to check Alvin's website to learn more about him.

    That was great! A good jazz trio that's tight is sure hard to beat...

    of course the drummer was good , but I thought the bassist did an excellent job and that piano player could really tickle the ivory......thanks Frank , good vid

    by the way, are you familiar with Michele petruciani's trio with gadd at the kit? he also uses lenny white. hope you like.

    Hey Rat...thank you, that was great! Man, he was just GADD awful on the drums. What's really neat about these vids are the links to other vids. I watched Gadd and Jarreau do Mas Que Nada. We have a big band arrangement of that and it is a lot of fun to play. I then listened to No more Blues, another tune my Trio is doing too.

    just watched both of them also, Gadd on double pedals !! whats next? left foot cowbell, the guy is an inspiration, always evolving. Did ya ever get to open up the trio stuff i posted? I checked em and they still work ok. No worries if ya cant. keep them vids coming.
