Default A quick question (advice needed)

Hey, im going camping very soon and just wondered if anyone knows the best type of hand percussion i could take as i have no knowledge on any specific types (congas, bongos, djembes ).

Im looking for something cheap (maximum £20-£30) which i could also use for home recordings if need be (as a quieter accompanyment than a drumkit!). I know quality will not be gerat for something under £30 but does anyone know somewhere i could get a good deal (ebay?)

Sorry if this question seems a bit stupid, any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I own these bongos, they have a really great sound when you play them right plus their tunable.

If you're looking for something cheaper, Pulse makes a decent set of bongos as well for only $30.

Bongos would take up the least space. That's what I would do. And they can accompany tracks but they'll be higher pitched than the others.

You can find stuff cheap on E-bay, Craigslist, and at some of the superstores.

This is what I have, it's great for travel. The Body of it is synthetic, so it can take more temp and moisture variants than wood, and it sounds amazing. Not to mention that it's pretty affordable.
