Which is better? From what I hear the rock cymbals are heavier and have more sustain, whereas the pro's are faster

I have ZBT pro's and bought them not even knowing about rocks. I think they are pretty similar to be honest, i play metal with the pros and would say you could play lighter music on the rocks. Whichever you got you would be happy with if your looking for a good beginner set, i don't really think theres a whole lotta difference.

The rock line is a little thicker, and a lot higher of a pitch, If your not playing rock, go with the pro package, it has the best overall sound.

Might I suggest the Paiste PST 5 Series? They are a little cheaper and sound much better IMHO...
