    Default Score!!

I found these in my new bands studio. The old drummer left tonnes of gear and said the band could do what they wanted with it. They decided since Im the drummer, ITS ALL MINE!!!! There are about 6 cymbals, a set of hats, two sets of rototoms with stands, a RythmTech tamborine, a LP cwobell plus mount, a Gibraltar tractor throne, 4 Pearl boom stands, a Gibraltar pedal, and a 5 pc set of Rockstars. Im going to leave most of the stuff at the studio so I dont have to move my kit to practice. But I will be using all the cymbals!

Here is the first two cymbals I brought home.
18" Sabian AA Rock Crash, and a mystery Zildjian 18" if anyone can identifiy it I would be very greatful.

The 2nd picture looks like a Zildjian sizzler . I have 1 and it really sings . Thats one of the good ones with 6 or 8 rivets from the 60s.

The zildjian looks like my 20"....mid 1960's drilled for sizzle...medium weight ride. when you play it, check for wash...they usually have quite a lot.

Wow NR, it looks like leaving the other band is getting better all the time! It looks like your rivets are missing, but I would agree that it's the Zildjian A series sizzle ride.

There is a mate to the Zildjian. Im going to replace the rivets in one. We do this really slow and dirty 12 bar song that a sizzler will sound awesome in.

I would think a sizzler would sound great on a blues number! A nice easy distortion on the amps, with a sizzler on the set - what could be sweeter!!!

Right you are PB , and for a little less wash just ride closer to the bell . I really love mine and am glad I have it .

The good ones have 6-8 rivets in them , any more than that and it just doesnt sound good .
