    Default Fast Hi Hiats

    My band just wrote a new song in a band practice today, at the into im playing 24ths on the hi hat, then later on in a more upbeat section IM play 32nds nd through the minute lond solo im playing 16ths, my hands were bloody killing me after the rehersal, and then the guitarist decided we shouldplay it again but a bit faster! I can pull it off and reli enjoy doin the song but i work up a sweat lol!

    24ths?

    I think you are trying to say you are playing fast but there is no such thing as 24ths

    whole, 1/2, 1/4. 1/8, 16th, 32nd, 64th, 128th, .......

    Sounds like you were having fun either way.

    There could be a 24ths if it were in triplets no? 3, 6, 12, 24?

    CONFESSION: I don't know too much about time signatures lol.
