Again with the favourite drummers... :P
Just kidding. My favourite drummer is probably Matt Cameron, and my favourite song to drum along to is "Holy Water" by Soundgarden.

I like to drum along to anything country .
Since I've only been playing for a month or so now, I need to keep it pretty easy so I've been having some fun w/ old skool Motley Crue, some black album Metallica (with a sprinkling of older stuff that isn't too fast or technical - my fast chops suck right now!), Danzig's Mother, some Corrosion of Conformity, and some random classic rock/blues

Keith is all about feel, understanding the song, and understanding where he puts his fills and why. Don't count, you'll confuse yourself...just find where 'one' is in the beat instead, then work it out from there.
he's a brilliant drummer. check out 'The Real Me' for a mad groove.

You and me both. The first time I remember hearing that song I stopped everything I was doing to listen. I hadn't even wanted to play drums yet, but that groove was sooooo awesome...And it still is! BLD break that one down to just the bass and snare. Then add some hats when you are comfortable. next (and to me the hardest to sound right) the ghost notes. I'll bet in a couple of hours you can groove this song as well. My favorite part is the instrumental break with the carribean sound
I forget my songs too.
GNR- Paradise City
Foo Fighters-DOA
Candlebox-Far Behind
Black Crowes-Seeing Things
Absolutely BLD, that those ghost notes are not just the backbone but the whole skeleton of the song....
Btw... its not too tough really if you get your individual limbs right first. I thought i wouldnt be able to do it when trying for the first time, but after some practice i got it and that gave me so much confidence i cannot tell you... Give it a shot, you'd be surprised...
