    I think that color changing paint on a drum kit is a cool idea, especially if you can make an imagine pop out when it's under the warm stagelights. Very cool!

    there is a cool band that we play with out here in Sacramento from time to time called bell tower sniper. they have a drummer named lizard who had a custom set made by shine drums. keep in mind when you look at this picture, this is a female drummer. the set totally caught my eye when i saw it on stage and i had to ask questions backstage afterwards.

    Hey, just make those stripes blue instead of purple, and I could really enjoy that kit!

    yeah your right bob, i was also wondering what that white ring is on the center of the resonant bass drum head? muting? microphone? looks?


    maybe metallic black rings for me (im on the dark side a little bit) totally nice kit though

    Man, that Shine kit really does (shine, that is)...kinda reminds me of a red-white-and-blue striped Slingerland kit which was my first drum set...would love to see that in red-white-and-blue stripes!

    I like that kit as it is!! Man, that's stunning and I bet it sounds terrific, too.
    There's a lot to be said for Time Honored tradition and value.
