Bish, I just logged in on the first page, and it took me straight to the page with the list of AVIs.

Click on an avi and Windows Media Player pops up.....then the waiting begins.

No mics, no special techniques, no talent, just cool drums.

This is my current FTP site and it's cumbersome at best. I'm sorry....

If you can put up with a double login and waiting then I thank you!

    Here's the site...

    ftp://65.113.2.134

    You have to log in.

    To do so

Us dc as the login ID and dc as the password.

On the first screen you need to change the view to Windows Explorer as is displayed on the first page.

From there go to the DC folder and log in again. (This part I haven't figured out how to get past.)

From there you should see a list of avi's. Click any one and wait a few minutes.

If you don't have the patience to wait, I understand.

Thanks if you do watch any of them.

Yes, Norske, that bass drum kills, doesn't it?

And the camera mic is actually holding it back.

That's my Warlord Masai snare. Not Starclassic but the same wood.

It's a killer snare. Glad I finally have a kit that it works well with.

    I'm just in love.

Man, I was looking forward to this Bish, but I keep getting a mesage that Windows Media Player can't find the file. I'll have to try again later. Can't wait to hear 'em. I play a Tama Warlord Masai snare once, at my local music store, and I was very impressed. I'm sure a whole kit of bubinga would be awesome!

PB and BB you are missing a step. You have to choose the option to view the site in Windows Explorer before you jump into the DC folder.

OK, I think I have another solution.

If you can't get the avi's to play, click the zip files and choose open.

If that doesn't work, then I'll need to get in touch with Roaddebris to find his spork. I hope he washed it when he was finished.

I believe the only problem anyone is having, is the view to Windows Explorer.

Once you hit the very first page which is FTP ROOT at XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX (IP address of server) you must click the PAGE icon on the far right upper corner of the browser page and choose Open FTP site in Windows Explorer.

It will require a second log in and then you will see the files just like you would if they were on your local machine. AVI files should play with WMP no problem. If not, there is a simple fix within Windows file associations to make that work.

Or you can go to the properties of WMP and set it to play AVI's.

Bish, my IE browser says that it cannot connect to the website. I ran the diagnostic, and it says that it cannot be fixed automatically. Get I'm out on this one for now, because I check everything you mentioned, and I still can't get it to work. I get to the file, but when I click on them, the browser says it can't connect. Bummer!

Man, guys, I'm really bummed. It works great following the directions. I don't know why some of you can't get it to work. It's standard FTP.

I just uploaded vids of the gig from Saturday night in a subfolder. They take a bit to load but worth the money you spent.

I'm timing one now, the largest one to see how long it takes to load so I can give you a base line for expected wait times. Well the largest one took about 6 minutes but it's about 15 minutes of play time. Not a bad trade off, right? hehehe

If you do get them to work, THANKS!

If you tried but couldn't get them to work, I sincerely apologize for your waste of time.
