I work in retail so I have to listen to the same 15 songs over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over every day, so I do not like christmas music anymore....
What are your favorite Christmas songs?
Mine are The First Noel, Carol of the Bells, What Child is This, and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing. And of course Jingle Bell Rock and The Little Drummer Boy

I Someone With Autism!
my favorite classic christmas song is Jingle bell rock..
I Someone With Autism!
Here are a few that come to mind...only a few, 1DB--not surprisingly, a couple can be jazzed up with percussion in the right places--
"Feliz Navidad"--Jose Feliciano (Latin feel and in Spanish, of course)...
"God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" (this one can cook with a jazzy arrangement and some well-timed conga drumming)...
"The Little Drummer Boy" (no surprise, of course--I think Tito Puente did a version a few years ago that probably had the ox and lamb doing a mambo instead of simply keeping time)...
"Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree" (has to be the Brenda Lee version!)...
and the one Christmas song that needs NO percussion as far as I'm concerned: "Silent Night."
keep the beat goin' ... Don't keep it to yourself!
