Using a photo hosting site is not as difficult as it might seem, so most of us don't even think twice about. The ones who haven't done it before learn it pretty quickly, so it becomes a non issue.

Hippy chip, we're happy to have new members, and we welcome you here to Drum Chat. Please keep in mind that our Forum Rules make clear that we are to chat with mutual respect. People are welcome to express their thoughts, and we simply ask that it be done respectfully.

Without wanting to make a target of a new member here, but I have to say, PB, that you are one of the reasons this forum is such a great place to be. Keep up the great work!

Just get your digital pictures on your computer, then go to a picture hosting site (Photobucket is one). Join it for free, and then upload your pictures to the site. There is an image code (IMG) for linking to sites like this, so click on that then copy it.

On to Drum Chat! Go to the appropriate thread, or create a new thread for your post. In either case, once you have opened a new post, copy the image code into your post by pressing this button . This will imbed the picture in your post. Repeat for any additional pictures, then submit the new post.
I do this and all it does is post the link, it does not bring the picture up itself?

He registered and made a few posts. We realized he was a troll and deleted his account. The posts now say "guest". He is no longer a member of the forum.

In case your next question is, "Then why are his posts still there?", we'll sometimes leave the posts because the replies reference it. Sometimes we won't leave it however if the post is spam or really nasty.

Why sometimes can I post a pic from my computer and other times it's only via URL?
For instance here it will work but not in famous drummers.

I'm unable to post pictures here. I used to have photobucket, but have elected not to pay for their service. I do pay for MS OneDrive, but that's not working here. I also tried linking to Flickr images, but that's not working either. This should be easy ...
