    The Who, then ManOwaR! The year was in the late 80's. Although, it officiially is not official that ManOwaR broke the record. The machines were "malfunctioning". Typical for ManOwaR's curse!! There is a documented video where ManOwaR is playing next to a jet, and the band IS louder. I saw that at Joey's house a long time ago.

    I had to look it up, and it surprised me, he did some work with Joni Mitchell, and she released a cd bearing his name, Mingus!
