I played the part of Jesus in a local community theater group about 13 years and 60 lbs ago! Is was a great experience. I became a Superstar addict in 9th grade(1972) after our english class did a thing where we were analyzing song lyrics and we did the entire Superstar album. In 1991 I saw an ad for audtions so I went for it. Played Simon Zealotes the first time, then in 1995 I played Jesus. I can't begin to describe the feeling of playing that part, especially during "Gethsemane" and "The Crucifixion".

It was very cool and very emotional. It also got me started doing community theater which I love, if only I had more time. I've also played Harold Hill in The Music Man(2001) and Jekyll and Hyde in Jekyll and Hyde, The Musical(2003). The Jekyll and Hyde part was really cool, too. Especially the song called "The Confrontation", where I played both parts at the same time in a final battle. Maybe someday I'll upload the video or audio.

Enough about me...let's get back to the game!

Here is one, what deal did Ringo Star make with his drum company before he allowed his group name to placed on his bass drum?

The deal was that Ringo wanted Ludwig to put their name on the bass drum head. Seemed Ludwig did not do this early on but it sure paid off for them, and a great deal of other drum makers later on.

Ok next question should come from soemone else.

You are correct, there was a long time rumor it was true. Seems in the 80's Eddie made a comment to Rolling Stone that his father and he were out of sorts. He stated it was tough having a Dad that worked for CPT Kangaroo as Mr. Green Jeans or something to that effect.

    You are up.
