Just thought I would post the pics of my new (used) Black Panther snare, I also put some puresound blaster snare wires on last night and this thing now sounds even better.

    Thanks man.
They are sure they can get me a black throw off or chrome one, but a gold one doesn't seem likely but they haven't unpacked everything at their new site yet so I have to wait a few more days - should be all good though, I have no problems having a black one that will (hopefully) match the finish.

JSB, every time I see that snare I like it more and more, and that's not even seeing it in person. I'm so glad you like it like we all knew you would. I hope you will have many happy years together.

Thank you PB, I'm sure we will. I am the same with it though, every time I see it, it's hard to believe I actually own it.

I will take some pics of it with my kit soon, probably at a gig I have in a few weeks... although it doesn't quite fit in with my kit as far as looks go... now how can I get my hands on enough cash for a new kit???

The GAS will always get you.

I love my Blaster kit. I love the snare to bits, but I think it will become a side snare at it is perhaps a little too full on for subtle work.

I took some new photos today as I added some more UFIP cymbals and loved every moment of playing it. I'll post some images later.

Sadly not had a chance to use is with a band yet.

    Do it.

You won't regret it. Just find one that has the sound you'd like to add. I was actually saving for a BP but fell in love with the Pork Pie and got it for $100 off so I didn't want to pass it up.

That is a beautiful kit mate. Stunning.
And may I add that I thinks it's great to see a dude using a single kick pedal. Too many peeps using double pedals now days IMHO.

Well, after some time and patience, I've finally found the sweet spot as far as tuning goes for my Saturn set. Of particular trouble was the 10" tom. No more. No moon gell, duck tape, rings.........nothing. Just booms and sings now. It's what I expected when I bought them. Very pleased.
