Quite the list.
The '07 DW Collectors kit that has been a demo showroom floor model for nearly 9 years that I have on layaway, of course, still has the stock heads on it. As beat up as they look, the heads still sound great. I can only imagine what the kit would sound like with new heads? I'm going to stick with the Remo/DW stock heads since they held up very well to the amount of punishment a demo kit usually suffers through and do a complete swap out before I invest in some DW hardware.

The kit looks great. What are your first impressions?
Looks like you swapped to EC2's? I run those same heads on my finish ply kit!
Thanks! It was so late, I didn't have a chance to play them yet. Hopefully tonight. Nice to know you have the same heads on your ply kit! Got the DW factory heads coming in Wednesday just to compare them to the EC2 heads. I ordered a white vented reso head not knowing the kit came with an Remo Ebony. I lucked out because I wanted a black and a white reso

that's just mind boggling... "new" after being in store for 9 years lol
Finally :D
Such thin and light shells. Icm with the Rims, the sustain is amazing. The Pinstripes are barely noticeable.
The 8'' tom (added later somewhere between '93 en '97) has a B in its serial number, what usually means Birch at DW.
Big thanks to Toby from Nashville Gear Factory, and getting the drums safely across the big pool.

Sweet kit. Very nice find. Love the sizes and the color.
Proudly playing:
Doc Sweeney Drums
A bunch of snares
A bunch of cymbals
Off-Set double pedals
I think I love to play the drums simply because you get to hit 'em!!!
musiqman I saw your post on FB. I see you're in the DW community as well.
Those are a great pickup! Nice score.
musiqman: Nice kit and love the finish too! Congrats!
I love that your a lefty. I use to keep one of my kits setup lefty full time. But I've stopped doing that now. I should do it again.
Yeah although I hate it personally. Shoudl have learn to play right handed.
My hardware list so far:
Pedals:
DW 9002PBL Double bass pedal (Lefty version)
Stands:
DW 9500TB Hi-hat stand
DW 9300 Snare Stand (2x)
DW 9900 Double Tom Stand (4x)
DW 9701 Low Boom Stand
Arms:
DW SM934S Cymbal Arm Short
DW SM934S Cymbal Arm Short (bottom part only)
DW SM9212 Closed Hi-Hat Arm
DW SM912 Cymbal Boom Arm (5x)
Attachments:
DW SM798 Dogbone (4x)
DW SM909 Angle Adjustable Stacker (3x)
DW SM906 6''*Cymbal Stacker (2x)
DW SM788 Dogbone
DW SM2034 Tilter Clamp
DWSP431 Tilter Assembley (4x)
Finally together.
12x5 & 14x6 Maple/Brass Edge. Good for about 13.5kg in weight.
The Mag strainer and 3 point butt system are very nice. If they would broaden the bridge of the 3 point, its effectiveness could be even better.
The 12'' chrome hoops are on the way.
Absolutely gorgeous kit late8!!!
As of today, I have joined the DW family myself!

Yep, Performance series in white marine pearl. 24x18 kick, 13x10 rack tom, 16x14 and 18x16 floor toms. This thing is a beast! I've looked at a few DW snares, but I can't seem to move away from my Pearl LE walnut snare. It just sounds too good to part with.
