I bought my DW Collector's Series kit brand new eleven years ago. I can't begin to guess at how many gigs I've used them for. Thanks to Humes & Berg Enduro cases, they still look new. I'm currently using my Gretsch USA Customs for most gigs. I still love my DWs, but I was looking to change up my sound a bit.

Nice set up MIke, looks comfy..Like to see a view from the top if you have one. How much of a difference do you notice between the DW and USA? same heads?

Just got the MDD's last week. so far really enjoying them. Have tried to set them up as close to the feel of the 9000's that I can The Trick Shaft on the 9000's absolutely transforms them.

yeah I did a video comparison of the trick shaft vs the crappy factory DW shaft and what a stupid difference!!! Worth every penny but sad that you still need to buy it in the first place. DW seriously needs to step up their game on that one.

Couldn't agree more mate. For such a great, high end pedal, the shaft is very poor indeed. They need to use the shaft from the MDD/MCD's
