    Unfortunately some of the other pictures were taken from a camera angle this site doesn't like and continues to set them sideways. Some will not be available here.

    Yeah, I couldn't let that one slip by as much as I love Yamaha drums. I had to go through every other model they make before I found this one. For sound and visual appearance, it truly took my heart and soul.

    Here is the complete shell bank. Now I'll start peeling it back to a realistic usable kit.

    Man is that a beauty! Wow! ... Reminds me of when I was in high school and I had pictures of massive kits like that all over the cover of my notebook.

    In high school I had a 5 up ,1 down double bass set. Red sparkle.three different makes. Looked pretty cool. A pain to transport and set up but a lot of fun to play.

    That was the thing back when we were young, energetic, willing and able to schlep all that gear around...and happily, too.

    I remember those days. If I had it I added it. Love Red Sparkle, myself. Well, in all honesty, most any sparkle, glitter or broken glass finish gets my attention.

    I have a 6 piece Yamaha Stage Custom in Cranberry and I just rescued a 5 piece Yamaha Rydeen kit from the curbside. I had to drive an hour and half but it was free including stands and two cymbals. It needs rewrapping.

    I used a Rydeen set for a rehearsal room for a few years....good enough for practice.
    I got the bass to sound good;
    The toms are just OK....not great;
    The snare is obnoxious....very sharp and too loud....ditch that.

    Such a sad end for a decent kit with hardware. I hope they don't treat their pets that way.
