Mines are not stickers but printed with the red background between the heads film layers.

But you can get stickers of brands online or have them made-to-fit.

I acquired a 16" YD floor tom a few years ago and always very pleased with it's tone. 9 ply? (not positive on that ply) mahogany shell with nice hardware. Wish I could find it's 18" sibling somewhere. Have the Aquarian Force Ten on batter side.

they are pretty well put together drums if anyone is looking for a better than average entry set.

So....if I were to add a second kit to my natural gloss lacquer Cherry DW Collector's (10/12/14/16/18/22), I was thinking it would be a tossup between a Sonor SQ2 or....a Yamaha Phoenix. This being a Yamaha crowd, I know the recommendations would be the Yammie. However....you Yamaha guys...convince me
Now, just a tiny bit less than an absolute drum newbie

The Phoenix? Holy cow that's a chunk of change. Saw a 3 piece 10/13/18 that was 6 grand. Sounded amazing. Never heard the Sonor

Really nice RC itchie. I'm normally not into black drums but that kit really looks great!

I've never played a Phoenix or SQ2 but you can't go wrong with either. I can tell you I've been extremely satisfied with all the Yamaha kits I own, and that's coming from a fellow DW owner.

Yeah thats like asking what my thoughts are on getting a Ferrari or lamborghini. I suggest for that kind of money you should really sit at each kit and go over them with a fine tooth comb.....twice!
