If I'm not mistaken, I think they were going for $2500 or $3000. The seller sounded like he really didn't want to sell them because he would have rather seen them in a museum. Yeah, right, the museum in my house.

Wrapped my new Accent Classic floor tom to match the rest of my kit. I wanted the second floor tom, plus the extra rumble the 16" would allow. I looked for a long time on ebay for a matching 16 floor and came upon this one. It's not the same color as the original kit, but that didn't matter. The wrap is Sparkle-brite adhesive film in fluorescent green sparkle and does the trick nicely.

In December I picked up this mid 80's ludwig kit. I am pretty happy with it. Check out this link to see the pictures:

    http://www.flickr.com/photos/bodhran_girl/

I have been rearranging things as I get more comfortable with how I want to play but the pictures give you some idea of what it looks like.

The first couple of pictures were form the kijij ad. The once with the cymbals were after I got things setp. I also managed to pickup a 1964 Ludwig Supraphonic Aluminum Snare and a mid 90's Ludwig Maple snare (it is clear maple just like my kit and it has a great sound!)

Those are awesome, guys. I don't know if I ever posted mine so here they are.

They were the first new set I purchased back in the mid 90's. They took over the duties of the Black Rogers...

Mr. T - thanks, theyre Elements with the aptly named Green/Black Fade finish, and a Black Magic snare.

Bish - what series is that? Love that finish.
