    That's not a drum set. It's a playground!!
    Proudly playing:
    Doc Sweeney Drums
    A bunch of snares
    A bunch of cymbals

    Off-Set double pedals

I think I love to play the drums simply because you get to hit 'em!!!

That is obscene.. In a cool way..

With KHS/MAPEX acquisition of Hohner and Sonor official in 2015, it will be interesting to see what the brand will be offering up going forward.

Been a good while since I posted my Force 3007's. I love to see them on a stage.
This place was an ultra funky spot in Berkeley. Actually an antiques salvage yard. They just happen to have one little building on the property with a stage and benches and seats, even an old church pew, for an audience. They host plays and comedy and music, usually in the name of a charity.
I backlined the other two bands' drummers and got fabulous feedback. So cool to hear them from out front and see them sparkle in the sun at the same time.

    Hey guys!
I'm totally new to this forum, just explored a few days ago...
Can you please tell me, what exact type of Sonor is this? I bought it a few years ago, and if I remember corretly, the seller said Force 3001 or something... but I'm not really familiar with Sonors anyway.
Thank you in advance, Cheers! default.

Just bought a brandy new Sonor Essential Force Birch and really loving it so far, ec2's sound really good. Need to port the bass drum but actually does not sound terrible with no port. Love the color and probably not going to use the 10" tom but that could change in the future. This kit is top notch and built like a tank, I am very impressed.

It looks like a Force model.............are there no badges?

The finish doesn't look like a standard Sonor finish IMO

    Hi, Olimpass,

Unfortunately I can't PM you as this site requires me to have made 25 forum posts first.

I am writing about this image you uploaded:

    http://i330.photobucket.com/albums/l...386a2.jpg.html

i.e. schematic of Stewart Copeland’s drum set during his Police days.

I am working on a documentary about the Police and I am working on a brief sequence
about his “message of self-provocation” that he wrote on his toms (I am sure you know what I mean).

Would you still have this article and if so, would you be able to please send me the best
quality scan you can create for it? I just need the drum schematic and the list of kit pieces
as I am using a lot of old print scans to give the show some vibe.

Oh and which mag / date is this from?

Hope you can help. Please send me a PM and I can reply with my email address....

    Thanks!!

    Ben

Greetings. Came across a really nice used Sonor 6-piece kit today. White finish. The seller lists them as Sonor Force Special Edition drums. Is there a way to be sure? Can you help me identify what the shells are made out of?

Thank guys I am really loving my essential force kit, it is so full sounding. Iwas looking over some old pics and found my very 1st drum set from 2006. It was either a 3001 or a 3003 I cannot remember but I know it was Maple/Basswood. Got a great deal on it with all the hardware, some of which I still have and the B8 cymbals. Was a little ringy but I had no idea what I was doing tuning wise back then. Wish I would have kept it. My lord look at those ridiculous tom angles...LOL

It's good having the flexibility to try a variety of setups, and I'm enjoying smaller setups far more these days. Not having to haul 2 kick drums around is always a plus, too!
