I'll play both but more match, but sometime like when I dont 16th notes on the hit hat or anywhere else I'll do trad.

I've never played in a marching band, so matched grip has always been my grip of choice.

Started out traditional, switched to matched when I started playing a lot of xylophone and timpani. Switched back to mostly traditional because of fife and drum corp, but switch back and forth depending on what I'm doing on the kit.
I'd say I'm probably 75/25 trad/matched.

I had a Q/A on another thread about this, anyway~~~
I was initially trained traditional but gravitated to matched. I very rarely use traditional now, like most pro new-school drummers, I use matched. Dennis chambers, Dave Weckl, Tony Royston, Etc.
Currently electronics, with some "real" cymbals and a few accesories.
I prefer traditional, mostly because my "drummer idols", so to speak, are guys like Gene Krupa, Buddy Rich, and my dad; they played traditional almost all the time.
My 1960 Ludwig Drumset
Ludwig Drums
Snare = 5x14
Tom-Tom = 9x13
Floor Tom-Tom = 16x16
Bass = 14x22
Zildjian Cymbals

Crash = 16
Ride = 22
Sabian Cymbal
Splash = 10
As a hand-me-down from my dad, it's priceless!
I played matched for 3 years then I switched to traditional for a year to try it out, and I switched back to matched since I liked it more. Its just easier to get around the set when matched.
I play matched. I'm practicing my trad grip too. I find it easier to do rolls on the snare with trad grip but I can't do fills on the toms with trad. still working on it

matched here as well....traditional has always felt a little funny to me (never been able to get used to it) ....I attribute this to the fact that I am not only left-handed.....but also play open-armed most of the time....
...I am not seeing things as they are....I am seeing things as I am....
Traditional.
I've got an instructional video of Weckle's and he plays traditional on that, almost exclusively, except when he is demonstrating matched grip. I think it mostly a matter of what you started with. I like traditional grip myself on the set, although I use matched grip on Keyboard percussion and rudimental bass drum.
Gretsch Catalina Birch 6 piece fusion set (10,12,14,16in. Toms, 22 Bass). Sabian 20" HH Classic Ride, 16" Istanbul Agop Dark Crash, & Zildian K 13" Hi-hats.
Matched for me, I've never even tried traditional.
I think matched is easier but traditional looks cooler.
I play matched. The more I watch my Jojo Mayer DVD, the more I think I should learn Traditional.
If I were playin' in a drumline, I'd be playin' matched grip...but I've played traditional grip from the beginning and I'm comfortable with that. Try both, and stick (pun intended) with what's more comfortable for you, man...
keep the beat goin' ... Don't keep it to yourself!

Oh thank God I'm not the only person wanting to become better in Trad by watching Jojo.
