They look great! I bet playing for an Elvis impersonator is really fun. Great tunes.
    Proudly playing:
    Doc Sweeney Drums
    A bunch of snares
    A bunch of cymbals

    Off-Set double pedals

I think I love to play the drums simply because you get to hit 'em!!!

Yes it was, I had just joined a band and had to learn 32 new songs as well as 15 Elvis songs in 4 weeks so it was really a challenge. I have gained much respect for Ronnie Tutt, trying to follow his live Elvis drumming is quite a chore but very very fun.

Here we go. Image posting finally works!

Posting photos of my rcently acquired Artist Custom from around 1999-2001.

Grateful for any input on the drum specs or info about the kit. Sounds great, with 22" BD, 14", 16" and 18" toms.

sweet looking badge and the lugs are nice as well? I don't know anything about them other than doing a google search whcih you have probably already done. I am curious about the huge pillow in the bass drum however, looks like overkill?

I know, what's with the laundry in the bass drum? It's not a wash machine. Let that baby sing! Premier drums are too good for that.LOL

    It's this week's laundry!

No, its long gone now. Was there when I bought the drums, but I removed it the same day I picked them up. :-)

Hi. Just bought this kit. Hopefully I have it by the end of the week. It's a B303 Mahogny kit from 1973-1975 sometime. 22x14", 12x8", 14x8" and 16x16". Color is Royal Purple. This is the sellers pic I borrowed.

Have just re-joined the "Premier Club" after 30 years. My first kit was a Premier Royale.
Picked up this completely knackered Artist Maple from a friend who runs a rehearsal studio a couple of months ago for the handsome sum of about £50. Completely stripped & refurbished the kit with new heads all round & replaced all of the missing/broken parts.
What attracted me to it was despite it's absolute life expired condition was the sound. Simply fantastic. So, along with a cymbal, a deal was done

Some before, during & after pics

Very nice! Welcome back to the Premier club!
How did you fix all those marks on each side of the BD from the toms rubbing?

    Play the SONG......not the DRUMS!!!

"I think that feeling is a lot more important than technique. It's all very well doing a triple paradiddle - but who's going to know you've done it? If you play technically you sound like everybody else. It's being original that counts." ~ John Bonham

A quick update. I bought a lovely MK1 Projector last October which has now become my main gigging kit. Absolutely love it. Acquired a matching 1036 Snare for it as well. Bought a rare XPK in Tobacco Sunburst Fade as a sales kit which turned out amazing. A re-issue Genista as a sales kit. Also bought a Cabria PK full set up to sell on & yesterday, picked up a beautiful Premier Series Elite in Apple Sparkle Fade. This is stunning...........
