Does anyone know what effect putting your bass drum outer skin against the wall have??

I actually just turn my kit today so here i go.

-Much more space to play
-More Comfortable
-Sound the same, the bass looses very very little sustain

if it doe snot agree with your kit you can always move it around

It makes it take longer to change the reso head, besides that leave a little space and you should be fine.

True story - by having my kick drum against my bedroom wall when I was growing up, i cracked the plaster on the wall plus the room directly below!

Well, it would tone down the bass drum quite a lot I would think.
