In the basement. I work an off shift so my family isn't home during the day. It's nice to be able to play without disturbing anyone. I have my mother as my next door neighbor which helps too.

basement. Was my wife's idea to put my music equipment down there.
I used to have them in the Dining room but my guests did not enjoy being served dinner on floor toms. So now they are in the basement.
Cheers,

Got a decent sized bonus room above the garage. It's apparently built well because you can only hear my drums to about the end of my driveway. So I can rock out as long as I want. Well at least I could rock out as long as I want if I could rock out. So I guess I should say I can bang away like a madman...oh, never mind.

I practice out in my 24' utility trailer about 75' away from the house. I run a heater out there because it's about 30 deg outside, a cd player to play along with and usually one or two glasses of Riesling wine works fine.
