First record,tape,cd you got?

What was your very first album you got?

My first cd i got was (1999)Californicaition album by red hot chilli peppers. (Yes i am a young gun, Only 15) Not a bad album, i play too it on drums ever now and then.

Well there was one before that but i don't think i am gonna count the wiggles as being my first album haha. Yes i turned into a metal head and my first album was the wiggles. Very hardcore

Mine was Gary Puckett and the Union gap cassette, when I was about 6. My brother didn't like it and gave it to me.

Led Zeppelin II. Got it for Christmas and drove my grandparents crazy playing it over and over. We were over at their house for Christmas. They were actually incredibly tolerant that year. My parents did ask me to turn it down some though!

Edit - Oh, that and I got a Glen Campbell album (Too Late to Worry, Too Blue To Cry) that same Christmas. I loved the song Wichita Lineman, but my folks got me the wrong album. To this day, they don't know that.

I was neve rmusical as a kid so i didn't get anything until i got older. my first actual album, from memory I think was Metallica - Black album. My cousin gave it to me becuase he didn't really like them. It was the limited Edition Australian Tour Gold Release with the signatures on the cover. I should point out prior to that i had CD's they just weren't exactly, aggghhhh, you know purchased - i've had a cd copier for a LONG time.......plus i wasn't into having a whole album, just mixing my own CDs. You know what, never mind.....

Anyways - I suppose technically I had the Vynal record for the Chipmunk Movie - round the World in 80 Days as a little kid.

I am still looking for slayer on record. I look threw all the second hand shops looking for one, but they never have any.

The first ‘cassette tape’ that I ever got was was when I was about 7 years old and it was titled The Monster Mash by Bobby Pickett and the Cryptkickers.

the first album i owned was AC/DC - Back In Black when i was 10, and have been hooked on rock and metal ever since. I do listen to a lot more than that now though

Wow, we are all dating ourselves on this one, whether young or old...
My first ALBUM was one of the Kiss records back in the 70's; I can't remember which one, I ended up getting them all soon! Same thing with all the Beatles stuff...
