I played a gig at halloween dressed as a Jedi, with some big Jedi boots. I'm afraid the bass was a little sloppy ;-)

Converse all-stars, because of how thin they are, its like a barefoot, with a thing of rubber on the bottom, I just keep that on my pedal and its smooth sailing

socks...until I get some smaller shoes with thinner soles...cause all I have now are my Adios...and those aren't so good for drumming...

Yeah! I've got a favourite pair of Converse that I call my drum-shoes. I haven't gigged in anything for the past 4 years (by god but those shoes stink ... and they're held together with gaff tape).

Bare feet. nothing beats it. I play with socks on in Jazz band because my feet stink to much.

Tennis Shoes, comfortable, airy, not a lot of grip, allows for some slip-age

Tennis shoes. Or if it's a nicer gig I have to have something with rubber soles. I need the grip.

when i practice i wear old hiking boots to slow me down and build strength, when im playing at practice or at a show, just light weight tennis shoes or the tredded footie socks from the hospital to give you and unbelievable feel

I'm like SabianDrummer. I wear my Etnies! I have tried playing barefoot but I never really have enough control over my pedals.

Cant stand playing barefoot, Im always rocking my Reebok classics nylon black
(Ive worn the same style for over ten years). When they are worn in a bit the traction doesnt stick to my pedal.
