Apple Garage Band

Anybody ever try to use it to record live instruments?

I have used it to record but only using the built in microphone on my mac.
It sounds quite bad but not terrible

The built-in mic is what I used on my horse head video. It's not all that bad for what it is.

At the moment I use garage band, but I use a M-Audio interface which I plug in directly into the computer. I use the M-Audio fast track pro. It's working for me at the moment
