I dont know about Frank , but I think that was pretty smooth from a youth group . The drummer has good chops , I saw him picking his stick up off the floor at about the 7 min mark and he never lost the beat .

Drummers can be very tempomental.....
That was cool. Anyone besides me notice the hair do's and glasses? Looks like early to mid 80's to me.
The drummer was very good, although "kid" might be a loose word since he looked about 18.

Hey Rat.....I missed this but just caught it today, thanks! As I read that Mark Nightingale was the trombone solist I knew the vid had to be close to 20 years old. I have a couple of CD's with Mark playing with Jeff Hamilton. By the way, did any of you recognize the tune the band played? It was Rob McConnell's arrangement of "Take The "A" Train." That is one tough chart to play...I know, it's in my band library.
There's a lot to be said for Time Honored tradition and value.
