Hey, this is great! I'll know half the forum in person at this rate! :P

I know about the women too, I've been up a few times, and there were some rather captivating young ladies about. Seems many of my best mates will be joining me up there too, including at least one member of my band, so it's all good!

Rat, I'm not an original Yellowbelly, I was born in Stevenage, but I've been living up here in the Midlands for eight years or so now.

Never been to Stix in Peterborough, but Music Makers in Lincoln (aka the Big Pink Music Shop) is pretty decent. The White Hart I believe still does live music rather well, although I've never been there.

Oh, and here, have a hanky.

When I can get some cash together, Steve's likely to be my first ever drum teacher. I've had him very highly recommended, so I'd assume he's still playing live. He's definitely still teaching though. He taught the drummer for the brass band I played for before I did my teeth in in a football accident as well.

He is a very good drummer and a great teacher, he studied at Leeds uni, there is another guy who was in nyjo around the 80's but I cant remember his name, if steve isnt around. Also the drummer from the Sarah Jory band has a good name as a teacher. he is often on tour though so he will be hard to land. good luck.
