Awesome
I thought I would share this with everyone.
Last summer A friend of mine took me to the lakefront of Lake Michigan for something called the Full Moon Festival . It ended up being THE reason I went back to playing drums. It reminded me how happy it made me to play and just how much I missed doing so.
The Festival consists of a group of Fire Dancers and Percussionists. Anybody that brings an insturment can join in. Not sure about the Fire Dancing part.
If you decide to watch the video link, try to picture...Lake Michigan to your back with the full moon rising in the sky. To the side are the City lights of Chicago and in front of you Women and Men dancing and juggling with fire to tribal drumbeats played by about 50 or more percussionists.
It's free and people of all ages come along with thier families.
I fully intend on participating this year.
