    I have a 12 measure solo!!!!

    WHAT DO I DO!?

I only had a 4 measure one last year.....And it sucked

Should I just get my groove on or try to do diffrent thinks around the kit?

Or just groove and do some fills?

I would go groove+fills to snare work to toms then finish it off with the groove again.

play repetative patterns until the audience boo's and then finish the solo early , Run off the stage crying and sobbing uncontrollably.

If you dont fancy that idea, you could just be as creative and dynamic as you can.

Listen to the music and let it flow through your 12 bar solo.
There's a lot to be said for Time Honored tradition and value.

Try and work some rudiments using the whole kit! Paradiddles, Flam triplets, and short rolls are an idea.

cool tune covered it many times, uptempo and calls for end of bar phrasings. ratamacues between kick and toms, triplets and good old momma pappa between hands and feet question and answer type solo. any form of paradiddle would work good for this tunes solo also.

Have you seen me play? This usually takes about 1.5 bars for me.
