Home amplification ?
Hi again buds , so i finally made up my mind and went for the roland td-9kx .Loving it so far !
I think it was the best choice for the available budget.
Anyway , i need to spend my last euros on an amplifier , any thoughts? What do u guys use at home?
Correct me if im wrong , but i heard keyboard amps are ok for electronic kits , as long as the speaker is approx 10" - 12" (i saw some behringer-roland-laney amps on the net that went from 30W to 90 W guess its enough power there?) . I dont want to spend more then 200-250 Euros , so any info is priceless here !

Re: Home amplification ?
if it is for home use and maybe a light practise with a band a keyboard amp will do the trick . You will need a 15" speaker with a mid and a horn.
a bass amp will not have the full range you are looking for.
I first went with a peavey KB4 75watt keyboard amp.
If its just to be used for home practise , A good quality set of head phones will do the trick also.

Re: Home amplification ?
Personally if I only have a few hundred to spend I'd get a good set of headphones over a keyboard amp. I used one back in 2004 when I first made the switch to an E-kit and i blew it up in a months time. So I used headphones until I saved up enough cash for a decent system to play my kit through. I ended up getting this:

I also got a Yamaha 12 channel mixer, the total package cost me $1,100.00 but it was well worth it.
The system sounds great, makes one hell of a stereo system as well.
