sry haveing problems posting! im looking to record/live stuff with it. want some that will last and something i dont have to upgrade later down the road.
Allen and Heath make superb mixing gear. A lot of other forums that discuss mixers always mention A&H and rate them top quality. I think they have a price to match, tho.
I found Mackie to be really good quality and feature packed for the dollars spent. I've had one for almost 10 years and not a single issue. It's been on the road, the local venue and now pretty much supports my studio recording efforts.
Take a good look at them, as well.

LOVE Mackie!!! Only one thing is the buttons. Sometimes it is hard to tell what is on and off. I used one in Recording Class in college. Just a lot of fun and great eq!
