I practice "Three Camps" for triplet diddles. I do a ladder for 16th note diddles. What I do is I play a 4/4 measure of 16th notes. I play 1e&a 2e&a 3e&a, then I diddle the last 4 16th notes. I repeat that 3 times for a total of 4 times. Then after playing that I got to
1e&a 2e&a then diddle 3e&a 4e&a. I repeat that 3 times then go to 1e&a, then diddle
2e&a 3e&a 4e&a. After that I just do straight 16th note diddles for 4 measures.
I do really choose which one too practice. They're both pretty similar. It's good to know both though.
