    Awesome musician, but he can't write his way out of a wet paper sack (IMO).

    Van Halen- Van Halen (If Eruption was the only track on this album it'd still be on the list. That solo changed guitar playing forever!)

    Honorable Mention: right before Journey went to pieces and became the band that everyone now seems to remember, they came out with a live album (I think it was called Captured?). This is one of my favorite all time live albums. Steve Smith had a blistering solo that was one of the most muscal I've ever heard.

    Noone has mentioned Farewell to Kings

    in my opinion the best rush album

    i mean Xanadu just takes the cake
